Axalta (formerly DuPont) 13204S™ Aluminum Alloy and Metal Cleaner
Axalta 13204S™ is an aqueous phosphoric acid based cleaner designed to provide deep cleaning and conditioning of metal surfaces in preparation for a subsequent conversion coating. Axalta 13204S™ Aluminum Alloy and Metal Cleaner is recommended for high copper aluminum alloys where Axalta13205S™Aluminum Cleaner is not recommended.
Axalta (formerly DuPont) 13206S™ Aluminum Conversion Coating
Axalta 13206S™ provides a chromate conversion coat on aluminum and aluminum alloys. The coating formed by Axalta 13206S™ is gold to tan in color and provides for adhesion of subsequent primer as well as corrosion protection. Axalta 13206S™ Aluminum Conversion Coating is recommended as part of an aluminum pretreatment system with either Axalta13204S™ Aluminum Alloy and Metal Cleaner or Axalta13205S™ Aluminum Cleaner.

Axalta (formerly DuPont) 13205S™ Aluminum Cleaner
Axalta 13205S™ provides deep cleaning, brightening, and conditioning of aluminum surfaces in preparation for a subsequent conversion coating. This step is commonly referred to as acid etch treatment. Axalta 13205S™ should not be used on high copper bearing aluminum alloys (e.g. 2024) or aluminum castings.

A strontium-chromate based epoxy pre-treatment designed to provide adhesion and corrosion resistance for aluminum, aluminum alloy, and metal substrates.
